Hovering just outside of darkness, suspended!
Getting up late has its advantages. Had to take the kids to school and on my way home I spotted this pretty scene. I still have yet to learn, to bring my camera everywhere. I had to run to the house and get it, not too far away though.
Another photo that I have been meaning to take for a while. I like these trees and the way they come together and frame the morning sun, with a rainbow to boot, my lucky day! Have a wonderful day everyone!
Trying to keep up with the picture a day for 365 days… it is hard! I like to be creative and find things that are visually appealing. I hope this one appeals to someone.
I was on Facebook and a fellow photographer had posted her morning sunrise pictures, I almost missed it! Had to snag my camera and go see what I could see!
I was sitting at the computer enjoying some of your posts, when I heard quite a racket! I look out the window and on the power lines just outside the window… tons of birds!
I of course wanted to take a picture of them all. But, I opened the shade and away they went. I had my 50mm lens on the camera and the birds landed a bit farther away than I had hoped in the tree of a neighbor up the road.
So I had to zoom in and crop in Photoshop. To give you an idea of how many there were I took a photo of the tree without any birds. I missed out on them all huddled together in flight moving all at once this way and that before they landed. That is a pretty cool sight to see unless you have a fear of birds and then, well, that would suck! HAHA.
It looks like we might be getting a little snow Yay!!!!
What is going on? I want snow!!!! A January picture in this part of Washington should not look like this!
I like the shadow on the barn it has its own artwork that changes with the season and the sun position, throughout the day.
Another clear and cold night, Moon time!!! I hope everyone tries to get pictures of the Moon and doesn’t give up! Early on in my photography I gave up so easy, Auto just doesn’t cut it. This Manual Mode is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. I have said this before but I just want others to know when you think it isn’t possible don’t give up!!! Seriously missed out on the Moon for years and now I am Moon crazy!
I was trying to get a nice clear shot of the crescent with the whole circle of the Moon showing but this was as close and as clean as I got. The more I look at it the more I like it!
And from far, far away! And through the tree.
So I went out and about today and boy was it cold and gloomy! Driving around I wasn’t sure I was going to come back with a single picture and you would have seen another photo of the dog.
Lucky you… I drove past this orchard that has yet to be pruned. I thought the thickness at the bottom with all the trees in the background looked pretty cool, with the one tree leading the charge!
Or perhaps it represents the feeling one might have when they are weighed down with the circumstances of life but still holding on and not giving up! Don’t give up you will bloom again and produce much good fruit!
Did some editing with PS and Picmonkey
I haven’t been doing so well with my picture a day challenge. I hope to get back on track from here on out. Trying to find something to take a picture of on a foggy cold day was a challenge in it’s self.
I hope everyone had a great Holiday! I was playing with my wide angle lens and trying to be creative snapped this one and thought it would make a nice mystery shot.
Wondering if there are any Vintage Car buffs out there that can name the make and model without seeing the rest of the vehicle…
